Elyn Stephens MS attended the public meeting in Maesteg and heard the concerns raised by local residents, particularly around safety, proximity to the local school, community benefit, and the quality of the consultation process so far.
She is working alongside Alun Cox and Sera Evans (the other Plaid Senedd Members for Afan Ogwr Rhondda), Friends of the Earth, CND, and others to raise awareness of the proposals, ensuring local people understand what is being proposed and have the opportunity to make their voices heard.
Elyn and the other Plaid Senedd Members will continue to follow the proposal closely as it moves through the planning process.
